The Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show is back for the 143rd year at Madison Square Garden on February 11 & 12! Be a part of this epic two-night occasion filled with hundreds of dogs from across the country competing in categories such as Best in Group and Best in Show.

The Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show is a favorite of pet lovers worldwide, showcasing a number of the most beloved (and rarest) breeds in the world. Breed judging and benching will be at Piers 92/94 (this is also the site for the Meet the Breeds event and agility contest on February 9), while junior showmanship finals and group and best-in-show judging will occur evenings at Madison Square Garden. Roughly 3,000 dogs get involved in the various competitions.


Westminster is one of those staying benched displays, meaning that you can visit with handlers, breeders and the puppies on their’seat’ This permits you to talk to puppy and also to learn the particular breed you may be interested in.

There are so many reasons why any dog lover would like to visit the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show. Beyond being able to observe all 193 of the AKC-recognized breeds, you will have to experience amazing contest as the puppies vie for the coveted title of Best in Show.
